CNC Programmer/Machinist
Full Job Description:
Machinist with a diverse background in manufacturing. Someone able to change and adapt to an ever-evolving manufacturing environment. This position requires familiarity with CNC setup, programming, and operation of equipment.
Wage negotiable based on experience. If coming from another Aerospace Company, we will match PTO days & Seniority.
All Benefits are 100% paid by the company except health which is 50% covered by the Company.
Primary Functions:
CNC programmer/ Machinist with knowledge in CAM programming. Guide projects so that they are completed on time within the allocated time. Set up and operate specific machines in the shop. Must be able to use measuring equipment and instruments and stay within specified tolerances. Must have ability to maintain production rates, and read complex manufacturing prints.
2-10 Years of relevant experience in Aviation Manufacturing preferable.
Responsibilities:
- Extensive programming experience required. Fusion 360 preferred.
- Must be able to read and understand blueprints and take knowledge to produce quality tight tolerance parts as required.
- Must be able to read calipers, micrometers, and other inspection equipment.
- Understanding of speeds and feeds.
- Having good written and verbal communication skills.
- Being self-motivated. Read and interpret blueprints to identify design parameters prior to operation and verify a finished product meets requirements.
- Work from complex blueprints, process sheets, sketches to perform production tasks.
- Produce high-quality parts in a timely manner within close tolerances by planning machining methods and selecting proper materials and equipment.
- Use and program fusion 360 software packages to fabricate our parts.
- Use advanced measuring instruments ensuring finished product conformance to requirements.
- Communicate with engineers and other co-workers to ensure the requirements of the job are understood.
- Work with the Engineering dept to create new product prototypes and fixturing.
- Evaluate nonconforming material to develop and execute effort to bring the product into conformance.
- Follow work practices that are geared toward continuous quality improvement,
- Lean, and best practices. Assist in 5S ensuring a clean and safe work area and shop at all times.
- Assignment planning, layout, set up, operating, and making tool adjustments for various types of manual, numerically controlled, and computerized machine shop equipment.
- Checks and inspects prints against specified tolerances and identifies and repairs minor machine malfunctions.
- Work as an effective team member in the department. Participate in cross-training going on in the department.
- Serve as a technical resource for less experienced machinists in the department.
- Demonstrates personal and professional integrity as a role model to less experienced machinists.
- Follow all safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
Education/Experience:
- Attended post-High-School Training as a Machinist.
- High School Diploma, Associate Degree Required
Critical Competencies:
- 1-3 Years with full time CNC Lathe Experience
- CAM programming – REQUIRED (We use Fusion 360)
- Good followership and communication skills
- Experience with Production Control

Shipping & Receiving Clerk
Job Description:
This position represents an important role in our Manufacturing division to ensure efficient flow of raw materials and finished goods from start to finish. Through a keen eye for details and a process-oriented mindset, the Shipping & Receiving Clerk will manage and maintain all aspects and documentation of receiving incoming goods, flow of products to and from outside services, supporting production and packaging of finished goods inventory, and final packaging and shipment to customers. As the final step in Manufacturing, this role provides our last opportunity to ensure a quality presentation and accurate delivery of our aerospace products to our nationwide customer base.
Due to the detail-oriented nature of this position, DaVinci is also offering company-paid training to become a Level 1 & Level 2 technician in non-destructive testing (NDT). This position provides the ideal candidate an opportunity to grow with the company and support another vital aspect of manufacturing aerospace components and an eventual career in this field.
This is a great entry-level position for a driven individual who has an interest in getting into the aviation supply chain industry.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Process & ship product orders to customers through accurate counting, proper packaging, and providing essential documentation
- Manage incoming materials through detailed receiving inspections, identification, paperwork management, and proper storage
- Prepare and package unfinished goods for shipping and receiving to and from outside process vendors
- Process & properly package and document finished goods into inventory
- Prepare production runs including documentation and raw materials (cutting, inventory management)
- Maintain the shipping & receiving area through accurate accounting and organization of all raw materials, finished goods, and stock levels of packaging materials
- Ensure adherence to internal processes and standard operating procedures with respect to your area
- Ensure efficient flow of all raw materials, semi-finished, and finished goods through the various stages of manufacturing
- Transportation of parts to and from vendors, shipping facilities, and customers using a company vehicle

Required Education and Experience:
- Software: Excel, Word, Teams
- Aerospace experience preferred
- A valid driver’s license and a good driving record
- Candidate will be required to pass initial and random drug/alcohol screenings
- Minimum education: high school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of factory-related experience in shipping and receiving is preferred but not required
